Hear the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of police clearance certificate. It is seen that the petitioner was involved in a criminal case in Crime No.332 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions states that the said First Information Report has been closed of mistake of fact. Therefore, there cannot be any impediment for the first respondent to issue the certificate as sought for. The first respondent is directed to issue the police clearance certificate as sought for by the petitioner forthwith and without any delay. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
