ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner as an office Assistant by considering his representation dated 03.11.2016. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that on 01.09.2006, he was given promotion as Office Assistant. Subsequently, on 02.11.2007, he was de-promoted as Watchman by citing administrative reasons. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents to give him promotion and the same is pending before the respondents without any progress. Therefore, seeking necessary directions to the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be disposed of on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
