Prayer: Civil Revision Petition - filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.589 of 2016 within a time frame as fixed by this Court by allowing this civil revision petition. For Petitioner: Mr.K.Suresh Kumar

ORDER

The revision petitioner herein filed H.M.O.P.No.589 of 2016 before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking divorce. The grievance is that the respondent is not appearing even for counselling. She has not filed any counter. The matter is simply being adjourned from time to time. Therefore, he seeks the expeditious disposal of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.589 of 2016.

2. Finding merit in the said request, this Court directs the Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.589 of 2016 within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this civil revision petition is allowed. No costs.
