The wife, who is facing the proceedings in F.C.H.M.O.P.No.153 of 2020, on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur seeks transfer of the same to the Family Court at Madurai.

2. Transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience. The wife is admittedly a resident of Madurai. Though the husband is shown as a resident of Thanjavur, it is seen from the records that the husband is working in Hydrabad. Therefore, transfer of F.C.H.M.O.P.No.153 of 2020 from the file of Family Court, Thanjavur to the Family Court, Madurai may not cause any serious hardship to him.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent Mr.Jameel Arasu, would plead that the case may be transferred to Sub Court, so that the parties need not appear in person for every hearing. He would also add that reduction of hardship would help the parties to reach some kind of understanding in the matrimonial proceedings. 4.Mr.Raja Mohamed, the learned counsel for the petitioner/wife would not have any serious objection for this request of the learned counsel for the respondent/husband being considered favourably.

Tr.C.M.P(MD)No.266 of 2020 5.In view of the same, F.C.H.M.O.P.No.153 of 2020 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur and transferred to the file of the Principal Sub Court, Madurai, to be disposed of, in accordance with law. The Family Court, Thanjavur is directed to transmit the papers to the Principal Sub Court, Madurai forthwith.
