This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta for the petitioner's properties comprised in Revenue Survey Nos: 701/8, 701/10, 701/12, 701/13 701/19, 701/21 and 701/23 of Seminipatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai district, in the name of the petitioner, by considering the petitioner's Online Application No: 2016/0103/24/011891 dated 04/10/2016 within the time limit prescribed by this Court.

2. Mr.A.Muthukaruppan learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the online application of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the online application of the petitioner, dated 04.10.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
