ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to comply with the order, dated 25.03.2024 passed in Cr.M.P.No.886 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Ramanathapuram, register a FIR, investigate and file a final report.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the learned Magistrate had directed the respondents to conduct preliminary enquiry and to register the FIR as if the allegations disclosed the cognizable offence. As per the order of the learned Magistrate, the respondents conducted the preliminary enquiry and found that the allegations disclosed only a civil dispute and have already filed a report before the learned Magistrate.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report and seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
