ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to take necessary steps to comply with the direction issued by the second respondent vide the memorandum dated 24.04.2025 in Na.Ka.A5/10553/2024 within stipulated time.

2. Heard Mr.S.Sureshkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

It is seen from the records that the petitioner submitted an application before the second respondent seeking correction in the revenue records pertaining to the property comprised in S.Nos.242/2, 243, 244, 245 and 246/2 situated at Keelakarai Group Village, Keelakarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. The second respondent directed the fourth respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A5/10553/2024 dated 24.04.2025 to survey the subject land and submit his report. However, the fourth respondent has not surveyed the land and submitted his report. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this court.

4. Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who appeared for the respondents, would submit that the fourth respondent will survey the subject property and submit his report before the second respondent within the time stipulated by this court.

In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to comply with the direction issued by the second respondent in his proceedings dated 24.04.2025 and file his report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
