ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's objection and drop the survey and demarcation proceedings initiated in Survey Nos. 17/5 and 17/6 measuring to an extent of 00.70.00 Ares and 00.22.00 Ares respectively situated at A.Kalappur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2026.
2. Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
4. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.05.2026 seeking consideration of his objection and for dropping the survey and demarcation proceedings initiated in respect of the subject property. However, the same was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
6. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to conduct enquiry on the objection submitted by the petitioner while surveying and demarcation of the property comprised in Survey Nos. 17/5 and 17/6 measuring to an extent of 00.70.00 Ares and 00.22.00 Ares respectively situated at A.Kalappur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter parties. 3/6
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
