Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader for the second respondent informed the Court that the case registered against the petitioner has culminated in final report and taken on file in P.R.C.No.15 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur. Therefore, the petitioner has to move the jurisdictional criminal Court. As and when such an application is filed, the same shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the jurisdictional Magistrate to take a call in the matter. 3.With this liberty to the petitioner and direction to the trial Magistrate, this writ petition is disposed of.
