Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the Honbe Principal District and Sessions Judge, Karur to consider bail application filed by the petitioner and pass order in the bail application filed by the petitioner on the same date of their surrender in Crime no.213 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent in accordance with law.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. S. Ramesh Kumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. M. Sakthi Kumar, Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:

"This petition is filed seeking extension of time to surrender before the lower court and to furnish the sureties as directed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7850 of 2024, vide order dated 29.05.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the order dated 29.05.2024 was made ready on 26.06.2024. Further, the petitioner sustained injuries and he is taking treatment in the hospital. Therefore, he could not appear before the lower Court and furnish the sureties in time.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to surrender before the lower Court and furnish the sureties."
