This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to 2nd respondent to grant permission to perform the festival and cultural program of Traditional Village Customary music namely, "Villu Pattu"on 21.03.2017 and 22.03.2017 at Arulmigu Sudalaimadan, Arulmigu Muniyasamy, Arulmigu Petchiamman, Arulmigu Kamatchiamman Thirukovil located at K.Duraisamipuram, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District and to provide adequate police protection based on petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the police have granted permission to the petitioner for conducting Villupatu as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

requested by him on 21.03.2017 and 22.03.2017.

4. Recording the submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
