The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission to Villisai Micset Sound and Light Cut Out Banners on 15.08.2016 and 16.08.2016 full day at Kasinathapuram Alangulam Taluk Pudhupatti Village Tirunelveli District in the event of temple Kodai function to the Kasinathapuram Alangulam Taluk Pudhupatti Village Tirunelveli District in the event of temple Kodai function to the Kasinathapuram Alangulam Taluk Pudhupatti Village Tirunelveli District in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2016. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the festival is being conducted by the villagers regularly in order to promote harmony during the above said festival period and in connection with that festival, cultural event is being conducted; that a representation was given to the 2nd respondent, but, however, the same was not considered by the 2nd respondent so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that as the aforesaid festival is celebrated in a peaceful manner by the villagers, there will be no untoward incident on account of this celebration. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation.

6.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two days, as the cultural event is scheduled to be conducted on 15.08.2016 and 16.08.2016. No costs.
