ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his mother Jeyaprabha and his sister Tharani (aged 7 years) went missing from 03.06.2022 and that they are in the illegal custody of the 4th respondent.

2. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by Jeyakumar (father of the petitioner), a case in Tallakulam Police Station Crime No.428/2022 was registered for 'woman and girl missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that Jeyaprabha has eloped with the 4th respondent and has taken her daughter also with her.

3. In view of the above, this petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tallakulam, Madurai to supervise the investigation that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Tallakulam

Police Station Crime No.428/2022 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when Jeyaprabha and Tharani are secured, they may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Madurai under intimation to the petitioner and the learned Magistrate may pass appropriate orders with regard to custody.
