ORDER
This petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third and fourth respondents to change the house tax assessment with regard to tax assessment No.243 for the house in Door Nos.2/90, 2/90-1, 2/90-2 situated in S.F.No.173/2, New Sub Division No.233/6A of Mayanur Village within the Mayanur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Panchayat, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District, in the name of the petitioner.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that pursuant to the settlement deed, dated 23.02.2012, effected by her son, in favour of her, she sought for tax assessment in her name, for which she had already submitted a representation dated 05.05.2016, to the third and fourth respondents enclosing all the relevant documents. As the same is kept pending, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 05.05.2016, is disposed of by the respondents as per law, for which, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents shows no objection.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.05.2016, which was submitted along with the required documents and pass appropriate orders on own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
