[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband viz., Kanagaraj, S/o. Pithcai convict prisoner (CP.No.5914) now confined at Central Prison, Madurai to attend marriage ceremony of petitioner's daughter for a period of 28 days by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.06.2025.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.06.2025 will be Page No.2 of 5

considered and suitable orders will be passed within a week.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
