Respondent(s) For Petitioner(s): Mr.M.Ponniah For Respondent(s): Mr.D.Gandhiraj, Special Government Pleader, for R1 & R2 Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS by directing the respondent 2 to conduct an enquiry about the proposed election of the office bearers for the 15th respondent's society to be held on 16-05-2026 and to refrain the participation of the respondents 5 to 14 in the said election as they were illegally nominated by the respondents 3 and 4 on behalf of the petitioner temple of Kandanur Nagarathar Community, as it lapses the representation of 4 KARAI members of the Nagarathar Community on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06-05-2026.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the civil court for appropriate relief. He has made an endorsement to that effect.
