Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 4 to survey the petitioner's land in S.F.No.319/1D2 of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, with the police protection of the 5th respondent, based on the petitioner's application dated 11.03.2025 within time frame.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to survey his land comprised in S.F.No.319/1D2 situated at Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, with the police protection of the 5th respondent, by considering his application dated 11.03.2025 within time framed by this Court.

Heard Mr.A.N.Ramanathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents 1 to 4, and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the fifth respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the respondents 6 and 7 is dispensed with. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/5

Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents 1 to 4, would submit that pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner, the subject property was surveyed on 13.05.2025, and the petitioner has also signed the necessary documents and acknowledged the survey conducted by the official respondents. He has also produced an acknowledgement signed by the petitioner before this Court.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, this writ petition stands disposed of. If the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the survey conducted by the official respondents, it is for him to apply for a fresh survey. If any application is submitted by the petitioner for resurvey of the subject property, the said application shall be considered on its own merits, and a final order shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such application.
