************ [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner seeks removal of the encroachment allegedly made by the 5th respondent over the water channel and culvert and the common pathway in Mallipudur Village, Sriviliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The writ petitioner submitted a representation dated 14.02.2017 in this regard. 2.We direct the third respondent to enquire into the said representation. If any encroachment is made in public lands or any water body, action shall be taken for removal of the same, after complying with due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
