B3/37100/2025 dated 18.02.2026 passed by the 2nd respondent and impugned notice in Na.Ka. A5/3626/2025 dated 07.05.2026 and in consequential impugned order in Na.Ka.A5/3626/2025 dated 07.05.2026 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and direct the respondent to issue patta to the petitioners temple namely Sri Aadhi Muthu Mariamman Temple for Survey No. 229/1, Periyapattinam Village, Keelakarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) Though this writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent dated 07.05.2026, the petitioner already filed the revision petition as against the impugned order before the first

respondent and it is pending for consideration. Therefore, the petitioner cannot simultaneously maintain this writ petition when the revision is pending before the revisional authority. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Land Commissioner for interim protection. If the petitioner filed any interim application, the first respondent shall dispose of the same, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the application.
