This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate and file a final report in Crime No.8 of 2019, dated 25.02.2019.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that already investigation in Crime No.8 of 2019 has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, and the same has also been taken cognizance and pending in C.C.No.46 of 2019.

3. Recording the aforesaid statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
