Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorified Mandamus, to call for records pertaining to the Na.Ka.No.24/2017 - E1 dated 24.02.2017 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same consequentially, direct the first respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Cock Fight Traditional Game at back side Vandayar Colony, Thanjavur.

************ [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner challenges the order dated 24.02.2017 passed by the District Collector, Thanjavur, declining the permission to conduct the Game of Cock Fight on Vandayar Colony, Thanjavur.

2.The issue raised by the writ petitioner is no longer res integra. A Division Bench of this Court in the decision reported in (2014 (3) CTC 676) S.Kannan v/s The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, Madurai & Others has already held that the Cock Fights should https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
