Court in Crl.MP(MD) No.7933 of 2026 in Crl.OP(MD) No.23151 of 2025, dated 16.04.2026 as Crime No.2 of 2026, instead of Crime No.580 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police.

O R D E R

The petitioners, who apprehended arrest at the hands of the respondent police have filed Crl.OP(MD) No.23151 of 2025 before this Court for anticipatory bail. This Court, by its order, dated 10.02.2026 has allowed that Criminal Original Petition. Thereafter, the petitioner have moved Crl.MP(MD) No.7933 of 2026, sought for an extension of time for the operation of the above order in Crl.OP(MD) No.23151 of 2025, dated 10.02.2026. This Court has also extended time for a further period of thirty days, by its order, dated 16.04.2026, for execution of sureties and for deposit of a sum of Rs.18 lakhs, as directed by this Court, however, Crime number has been wrongly mentioned in the above order as ''Crime No.580 of 2025'', instead of ''Crime No.2 of 2026.'' Hence, the petitioners have filed the present petition to amend the order with Crime No.2 of 2026. 2/4

2.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. Crime number mentioned in Crl.MP(MD) No.7933 of 2026 in Crl.OP(MD) No.23151 of 2025, dated 16.04.2026 is amended as ''Crime No.2 of 2026''. Time for execution of sureties and for deposit of a sum of Rs.18 lakhs is extended for a further period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
