This petition has been filed by an Association that is said to be representing the shop owners, who are running business in Karaikudi New Bus Stand.

2. It is the case of the petitioner Association that Police are not permitting the members of the petitioner Association to run their business after 10p.m. It is not known as to whether the members of the petitioner Association are having valid licence issued by the Municipal or Panchayat Authorities for running shops in the Karaikudi New Bus Stand. Therefore, omnibus order cannot be passed as prayed for by the petitioner. However, it is open to the individual shop owners, who have got valid licence to make https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation to the respondent Police, if they are being prevented by the Police from running their legitimate business after 10p.m. Liberty is also given to the individual shop owners, who have valid licence to approach this Court in the event of the respondent police rejecting their representation.
