O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to give permission and protection for conducting Goat Fighting Competition on 26.03.2017 in connection with a Temple festival.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that suo motu FIR has been registered in Crime No.172 of 2017 on 11.03.2017 against the Organizers of the festival under the provisions of Prevention of Cruelty of Animals Act, 1960 and Tamil Nadu Gaming Act, 1930 and according to the Police, the event was conducted on wager.

3. In the opinion of this Court, the petitioner has got no fundamental right guaranteed under the Constitution of India to
