ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry, based on the complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent and not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the 3rd respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are having a land in Survey No.850 and 863/2 and they are doing agriculture in the said land. While so, one Prabhu, who represented on behalf of M/s.Chella Renewable and Infrastructure Private Limited approached the petitioners for lease of the said land for the purpose of transporting the company vehicle through the said land. Though the lease amount was fixed as Rs.15 lakhs, the said company paid a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- as advance. Therefore, the 1st petitioner put up fencing in his land. However, the said company lodged a false complaint as against the petitioners through the 3rd respondent. Based on that complaint, the respondent Police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that on the complaint of the 3rd respondent, the petition enquiry is pending before the respondent Police.

4. In view of the said submission, the second respondent is directed to conclude the petition enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If at the end of the enquiry, it is decided to register any FIR, the petitioners shall be put on notice so that the petitioners will have breathing time to move the concerned Court for the relief of anticipatory bail.
