Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son, namely, Karthick @ Dineshkumar was missing on 05.07.2019, hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police. At the same time, one of his relative namely Palraj has also given a complaint alleging that his daughter namely Kamala alias Muthulakshmi was missing. Based on the complaint given by the father of the missing girl, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by both parties, the respondent police suspects that it is a case of elopement. enquiry has been conducted only to find out whereabouts the missing persons, the second respondent police has called the petitioner for enquiry and not harassing the petitioner. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that only to find out whereabouts the missing persons, the second respondent police has called the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police as and when required for enquiry. The second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner during enquiry. Further, the second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and trace the missing persons as early as possible.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
