ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) Though this writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent dated 27.04.2026 under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, the petitioner has also filed an appeal under Sections 10 and 10B of the said Act before the appellate authority, and the same is pending consideration. Therefore, the petitioner cannot simultaneously maintain this writ petition when the appeal is pending before the appellate authority. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the appellate authority is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
