Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the records connected with the impugned order of the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.No.5177/13 dated 2.5.2013 and consequential impugned order of the 2nd Respondent dated 27.06.2013 in Ka.No.386/1066/11/13 and quash the same and consequently to forbear the Respondents from in any manner demolishing the construction made by the writ petitioner in A.B.S. No. 7/1 in Puliyurkurichi village.

ORDER

Alleging that the order of this Court has not been complied with, the petitioner is before this Court with the present contempt petition.

2. This Court passed the following order on 16.09.2019: "Mr.S.Srinivasaraghavan, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. On instructions, he submitted that the orders passed by this Court on 26.10.2018 will be complied with and report compliance within four weeks. Post this matter on 14.10.2019 for reporting compliance."

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the wife of the first respondent, viz., Stella Pandian handed over possession of the entire property on 03.10.2019 to the second petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, submitted that the order passed by this Court, on 26.10.2018, directing the property to be handed over, has been complied with.

4. Mr.S.Srinivasaraghavan appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the superstructure has been demolished and the possession of the property has been handed over to the second respondent.

5. Recording the submissions made on either side, no further orders need to be passed in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
