ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to survey the property comprised in S.No.68/3A situated at Thirumal Village, Kallikudi Taluk, Madurai District by considering his online application dated 24.04.2025.

Heard Mr.S.Ukkra Pandian, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents 1 to 3, and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (crl. side), who took notice for the fourth respondent. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property has been in the possession and enjoyment of his family from the days of his greatgrandfather, Ayyanan. The petitioner has produced a patta in the name of his great-grandfather, Ayyanan, in patta No.3604. The petitioner submitted 2/5
an online application before the respondents on 24.04.2025 in application No.2025/0123/24/014747, seeking to survey the subject property. The said application has not been considered. Hence, he approached this court.

Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents 1 to 3, would submit that the petitioner has not produced any document to substantiate his relationship with the said Ayyanan. He also submitted that if the sufficient documents are produced, his request will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, who appeared for the respondents 1 to 3, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to produce the necessary documents before the first respondent to substantiate his relationship with the pattadhar, Ayyanan, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission of necessary documents, the first respondent shall consider the online application submitted by the petitioner, dated 24.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks thereafter, after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
