ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the third respondent.
2. It is noted that the petitioner is an accused/A2 in FIR in Crime No.218 of 2023, dated 03.12.2023, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506 (2) of IPC. The said criminal complaint has been taken on file and therefore, charges have been framed and is now pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur, in C.C.No.120 of 2024. 2/4
3. It appears that the petitioner has not appeared before the said Court, whereby the petitioner has been arrived as A2.
4. Under these circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner, at this stage, cannot be granted by this Court. However, Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur for appropriate orders for the respondents to re-issue the passport to the petitioner.
