O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the third respondent, with an intention of grabbing the petitioner's property, is dumping waste in the petitioner's land. When the petitioner and his family members have tried to clean the land, they tried to attack them using weapons.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the respondent police is ready to provide police protection to the petitioner, if the Surveyor concerned feels that the police protection has to be provided at the time of surveying the land. 2/4

4.Recording the said submission, the respondent police is directed to provide police protection, if any request is made by the Surveyor concerned. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
