Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.05.2018 pending in X.K.vz;.m.4/3376/2018 on merits in accordance with law within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is as follows:- "To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.05.2018 pending in X.K.vz;.m.4/3376/2018 on merits in accordance with law within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court."

2.The petitioner has filed an appeal against the order passed by the fourth respondent dated 19.09.2016 transferring the patta in favour of the 7th respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, though the appeal has been filed on 09.05.2018, the same has not been disposed of as on date. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 would submit that a direction may be issued to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal stated to have been filed by the petitioner dated 09.05.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.The learned counsel appearing for the 7th respondent would have no objection for such direction being issued in this writ petition.

6.In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:- "(i) the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.05.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties including the 7th respondent herein.
