PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to allow to re-join the duty immediately by considering the petitioners representation dated 26.04.2026 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to take departmental action against the 4th respondent by ensuring that such violations of maternity rights and workplace dignity do not recur in future.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to allow to re-join the duty immediately by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2026 and consequently direct the first respondent to take departmental action against the fourth respondent by ensuring that such violations of maternity rights and workplace dignity do not recur in future.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner seeking to re2/5

join duty after completion of her maternity leave forthwith on merits and in accordance with law.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 13.05.2026 CM TO 3/5
