O R D E R

The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue license to the petitioner to collect the fees in the Manamadurai Weekly Market, Sivagangai District after accepting his highest bid amount of Rs.68,39,000/- and forbearing the 3rd respondent from granting further extension order to the 4th respondent to collect the fees in the Manamadurai Weekly Market, Sivagangai District without conducting re-auction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.On behalf of the third respondent a counter statement has been filed. According to the counter statement, the auction which is the subject matter of the present writ petition has been postponed indefinitely in view of the tussle between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. According to the third respondent, in view of the tussle, the Panchayat has proposed to issue new auction notification in a short time. 3.In view of the averments made in the counter statement, the issue raised in the writ petition does not survive for consideration or adjudication. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. In case the petitioner has any grievance on the proposed notification, it is always open to challenge the same. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. There is no order as to costs.
