O R D E R

This criminal original petition had been filed seeking a direction to the second Respondent herein not to harass the Petitioner, on the basis of the complaint given by the third Respondent in connection with the subject matter pending before the family Court, Tirunelveli in H.M.O.P.No.221 of 2022. 2.When the case came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the third Respondent, the second Respondent had conducted enquiry and on the enquiry, both the parties agreed to go for an amicable settlement and file a petition for divorce by mutual consent. Therefore, the enquiry was closed by the second Respondent.

3.When this petition had been filed by the petitioner herein, and came up for hearing, on request, it was referred to Mediation. In the Mediation Centre, attached to this Bench, the subject matter was amicably settled, thereby, both the parties agreed to return each other's properties. Accordingly, the memo of compromise was recorded, regarding handing over of the jewels to each other. Also, settlement was drawn, based on which, the petitioner and the third Respondent agreed to file a petition for divorce by mutual consent and 2/4

withdraw the criminal case filed against each other. 4.Recording the Mediation Report, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
