Sole Respondent in all WPs Common Prayer in WP(MD) Nos.4252 to 4260 of 2017: These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the files of the respondent pertaining to its order bearing Na.Ka.No.110/2015/A2 dated 20.02.2017 pertaining to shop Numbers 1,2,6,11,12,13,19,26 & 27 respectively of IDSMT market and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to adjust the amount originally paid by the petitioner towards the rent and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court.
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Herold singh in All the WPS For Respondent : K.Vamanan Standing Counsel in All the WPs C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions have been filed seeking issuance of writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned orders dated 20.02.2017 pertaining to shops of IDSMT Marthandam market and for consequential direction to the respondent to adjust the amount originally paid by the petitioner towards the rent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent. 3.According to the petitioner, the impugned order was issued stating that rental due has to be paid, which is computed in a column given in the impugned proceedings.
4. When the matters are taken up today for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that by subsequent proceeding dated 15.03.2017 stating that the demand which is subject matter in all the writ petitions has been mistakenly raised without verifying proper documents.
5.In such circumstances, the impugned demand is stated to be cancelled by the said proceedings. In view of the cancellation of demand by the respondent, which is subject matter in all the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitions, nothing survives for consideration in the writ petitions.
6. In the result, the writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
