This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.13 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the respondent police is not a competent authority to register a case under the provisions of Mines and Minerals Act. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police has completed the investigation and charge sheet was also made ready for the offence punishable under Section 379 IPC alone. 4.In view of the above submission, nothing survives in this petition for further consideration.
