ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to issue the passport to the petitioner based on the petitioner's passport Application No.25-1003273717 dated 21.03.2025.

2. The petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in Crime No. 19 of 2023 before the second respondent police station. The charges have been altered pursuant to the charge sheet filed by the respondents before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil, under Sections 406, 420, and 120(B) of the IPC in C.C. No. 626 of 2024.

3. Considering the same, the petitioner cannot expect any positive direction from this Court. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to 2/4

approach the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil for appropriate orders to facilitate the first respondent to process the application of the petitioner.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above liberty. There shall be no order as to costs.
