ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to defer all further proceedings pursuant to the charge sheet filed on 31.07.2020, in Crime No.213 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Oomangalam, Cuddalore. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Dhilip Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that final order has been passed in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner and produced a copy of the final order dated 31.03.2021. He further submitted that while entertaining the writ petition, this Court has not granted any interim order and therefore, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD].No.16498 of 2020 respondent proceeded with departmental proceedings and concluded the same, by passing final order dated 31.03.2021. A copy of the final order dated 31.03.2021 has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3.He has also brought to the notice of this Court that based on the enquiry report, second show cause notice was issued to the petitioner on 01.03.2021 and the same was challenged by this petitioner by way of filing separate Writ Petition in W.P(MD). No.6066 of 2021 and the same was dismissed at the admission stage itself on 18.03.2021.
4.In view of the final order having been passed in the disciplinary proceedings, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order if he is so advised. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
