O R D E R
*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner submitted a representation to the District Collector, Trichy District and the Commissioner, Manapparai Municipality, opposing the erection of cell-phone tower in the property comprised in Survey No.570/1-C, T.S.41, Ward - D, Block No.16 situated at Sevalur Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District. Since no follow-up action was taken by the concerned respondents, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. We direct the third respondent-Commissioner, Manapparai Municipality, to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 08 February, 2017, on merits and as per law after issuing notice to the fourth respondent. Such exercise shall be completed, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The status-quo as on today shall be maintained with respect to the erection of cell-phone tower till the disposal of the representation by the third respondent.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
