PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of 6th respondent in Na.Ka.No.12045 / Ma.Ku/2024 dated 14.05.2025 placing reliance on an alleged opinion of Medical Board, Theni dated 14.05.2025 and consequent impugned order of 5th respondent in Na.Ka.No.1018225/2024/12 dated 16.05.2025, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to disburse the balance insurance claim of Rs.1,27,064/- (Rupees one lakh twenty seven thousand sixty four only).

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of 6th respondent in Na.Ka.No.12045 / Ma.Ku/2024 dated 14.05.2025 and the impugned order of 5th respondent in Na.Ka.No.1018225/2024/12 dated 16.05.2025 with a consequential direction to the respondents herein to disburse the balance insurance claim of Rs.1,27,064/- (Rupees one lakh twenty seven thousand sixty four only).

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is disposed at the stage of admission itself.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though larger relief has been sought for by the petitioner, now, he confines the prayer that it would suffice if the appeals filed by the petitioner dated 24.05.2025 & 30.05.2025 is disposed of in accordance with law.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respective respondents would submit that the appeal is now pending before the first respondent.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioner dated 24.05.2025 & 30.05.2025, pending before the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits.

6. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
