Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of Writ, directing

the 3rd respondent to register the petitioners Sale Deed dated 14.05.2026 in respect of the property situated in T.S. No.48/1A1A, GR.S. No.314/2, to an extend of 1566 Sq.ft. (145.48 Sq.mtr.), in Vandikara Street (Annal Gandhi Adigal Salai), Ward No.13, present Ward No.25), (As per land register Ward F, Block 3), Ramanathapuram Town, Taluk and District based on petitioners representation dated 16.05.2026 and pass such further or other orders as this Honble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to register the petitioners Sale Deed dated 14.05.2026 presented by the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.T.Veerakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that when they had duly taken the token and presented the document for registration, it was not even accepted by the Sub-Registrar and was orally refused. The petitioners have also subsequently made a representation.

4. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions, submitted that the signature of the draftsman of the Sale Deed was missing. However, if the document is represented in proper form, it will be considered.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the document is in proper form.

6. In view of the submissions made, the writ petition is ordered as follows:- i. Within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, the petitioners shall represent the documents through their power agent with the office of the 3rd respondent;

ii. Upon such representation, the same shall be accepted and be processed in the manner known to law. Needless to state that no oral orders shall be passed.

iii. No costs.
