ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2026 and to approve the festival committee and grant police protection to conduct the festival on 26.05.2026, 27.05.2026 and 28.05.2026. 2/6

2.It is seen from the records that a rival claim is made by the seventh respondent. Therefore, the fourth respondent is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting and conclude the same before 25.05.2026. Depending upon the outcome of the peace committee meeting, the concerned party may be permitted to proceed with the function.

3.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 20.05.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes ias Issue order copy on 20.05.2026.
