O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal programme to be performed in a marriage function, scheduled to be held on 03.09.2016 at 07.00 pm to 10.30 pm, at Mathiyasenai Village, Mepco Engineering College Post, Virudhunagar, Virudhunagar District. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.This Court is of the view that in respect of a private marriage function, protection is not necessary.

5. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that protection is necessary, as there is likelihood of public participating in the programme.

6.Under such circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
