ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent, after dispensing with notice to the second respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed at this stage today.

2. The petitioner has made a complaint to the first respondent regarding the activities carried out by the second respondent in dumping waste near the petitioner's property. The second respondent Marriage Hall is situated adjacent to the petitioner's residential house, causing inconvenience to the petitioner.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner may have a valid grievance, I see no impediment in directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 and the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, before passing any order, the first respondent shall also issue notice to the second respondent.
