ORDER

Today, 23.01.2026, the above matter is listed under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners. 1/4

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD)No.10579 of 2025 submitted that there is an error in paragraph 7 of the order, since the prayer in the quash petition is for quashment of the final report, and therefore sought modification.

3. This Court, vide order dated 16.10.2025, passed the following order: "7.Therefore, this Court is of the view that the impugned FIR is an abuse of process of law. Accordingly, the impugned FIR in Crime No.43 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent police is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed."

4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to modify the order. Paragraph 7 of the order shall read as follows:

"7.Therefore, this Court is of the view that the impugned charge sheet is an abuse of process of law. Accordingly, the impugned charge sheet in C.C.No.43 of 2024 pending before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamelkudi, is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed." 2/4

5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections and issue a fresh order copy forthwith.
