ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.41 of 2017 and complete the same on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The case has been registered in 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 420, 423, 464, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC on 19.08.2011. Investigation has been completed and the final report has also been filed, which was taken on file in C.C.No. 41 of 2017 in 2017 itself.

3.Perusal of B diary extract shows that the matter has been adjourned due to the absence of the accused in most of the hearings. Now it has been posted for framing the charges. In the intervening time, lockdown period came.

4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to expedite the trial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13041 of 2021 process to secure the presence of the accused for framing the charges and dispose of the matter, within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposal of the same, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. 5.This petition is disposed of, accordingly.
