4.Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Government had earlier proposed to have a medical College at Kuppuchipalayam and issued G.O.Ms.No.352 dated 30.11.2015. Suddenly, the Government changed its view and decided to establish a medical college in Sanapiratti Village, Karur Taluk and in those circumstances, the land owners who have donated the lands to the Government in Kuppuchipalayam Village filed W.P.(MD) No.9604 of 2016 and obtained an injunction restraining the Government from proceeding with the establishing of a medical college in Sanapiratti Village, Karur District. 5.It is contended by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner and all other political parities are mobilizing opinion to impress upon the Government to abandon their move to establish a medical college in Sanapiratti Village and revert to the original plan of establishing it in Kuppuchipalayam Village.
6.The authorities/respondents are directed bear in mind the above said observations and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner regarding the Hunger Strike on or before 19.03.2017.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
