ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 5, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 2 and 4, and the learned Government 2/5
Advocate (criminal side) for the third respondent, and after dispensing with the notice to the respondents 6 and 7 as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against them.
2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the fifth respondent to forthwith take action against the 7th respondent for violation of the license condition and statutory provisions based on his representation dated 16.04.2025.
3. It is the specific case of the petitioner that the 7th respondent has violated the provisions of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Act, 2006. In response to which, the petitioner had given a complaint to the fifth respondent on 16.04.2025. Pursuant to which, the fifth respondent has also issued a show-cause notice dated 13.05.2025. However, thereafter, no orders have been passed by the fifth respondent.
4. Since the show cause notice has already been issued, there shall be direction to the fifth respondent to pass appropriate orders in accordance with the applicable provision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after following the principle of natural justice. 3/5
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
