ORDER

The petitioner, who is A5 in C.C.No.160 of 2015, has approached this Court with an allegation that the trial Court has not conducted the trial in C.C.No.160 of 2015 from the year 2015. 1/4

2.It is very unfortunate that the trial Court has not proceeded with the trial in a case, which is pending from the year 2015. Priority has to be given to complete the trial of cases, which are pending more than five years.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that totally, there are 25 accused in this case. One after another are either absconding or filing applications and dragging the proceedings.

4.Since the case is pending from the year 2015, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District shall give priority to the case in C.C.No.160 of 2015 and complete the trial, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
